News: The Fans Game, the Real Lincolnshire Derby

Press Release: There will be a rather unique football match taking place at The Stamford Club in Grimsby on 7th March 2009, kick off 11 a.m. Due to the Cancellation of this year’s Bike to the Park, not to be denied, the fans of Lincoln City and Grimsby Town decided to organise a charity football match.

Cancer Research UK and the community wings of both clubs Supporters Trusts will be the beneficiries and the bonhomie anticipated and enjoyed by both sets of fans should ensure that everyone is a winner whatever the result.
